The project aimed to help PoAB develop more transversal collaboration through the entire value chain and transition towards more data-driven decision making and planning among all stakeholders. This transformation involved aligning (internal and external) stakeholder visions, strengthening data and digital capabilities, and promoting continuous improvement.

The vision for PoAB emphasized transdisciplinary teams working towards shared goals, leveraging digital assets and data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
A key enabler for this vision was the creation of a centralized Port Intelligence team. This team is to be seen as a Competence Center that provides to the operational teams a strong digital fundament in processes, products, people, analyses and innovation.
